It was a cool October Saturday for Sara and Dave’s Dibbles Inn wedding in Utica NY. Family and friends joined together at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and Dibble’s Inn to celebrate the two becoming husband and wife.

The day began as Sara, her sister and closest friends gathered at her mother’s classic New York farm house to get ready for the day. The beautiful property provided an excellent backdrop for the getting ready photos.
Once Sara was ready we headed to the church for the ceremony…
Then came our favorite part of the day, portraits! Once outside, we immediately took advantage of the church’s stone exterior and grotto.
Next was a beautiful field dotted with weeping willows as the warm October sun peeked out from behind the clouds…
Determined to take advantage of the remaining daylight, we drove over to Root Glen on the campus of Hamilton College. Secluded trails lined with recently fallen autumn leaves provided the perfect backdrop for the remainder of the outdoor portraits. Note the falling snow behind Sara and Dave. You would never know it was 32 degrees!!!
With portraits complete, the bride and groom excitedly hopped in the car to drive to Dibble’s Inn for the reception…
Once the dinner was over and Sara and Dave had shared their first dances, the party continued in the night with some pretty epic dancing from the children. After Sara chose to throw her bouquet just to the youngest ladies in attendance, they were treated to a sing-a-long to “Let It Go”. The joy as the girls sang into the microphone was priceless, as was the DJ joining in!
The party ended with a group photo of all of Dave and Sara’s friends from Steubenville and one last dance from the happy couple. Everyone then watched as they walked off into the night, headed off to start their lives together.
