I visited Rocky Mountain National Park twice with my family when I was younger. Colorado and its many beautiful mountains are significant to my family because it is where my father came on a personal journey, gaining inspiration from steep, rocky mountains and the crisp, clean mountain air. He then returned home to ask my mother spend the rest of their lives together and why, years later, he brought his children to share in this magical place.
It is no wonder why I was excited to share this place with Adam years later. Upon entering, we were treated to the gift of snow and what could be more picturesque than snow in the mountains of Colorado?! Well, elk grazing in the snow, that’s what! As we walked down a pine tree lined path we came upon a cluster of Aspen which were even more stunning against the gray sky.
