When Christine and Zak asked us to photo their Old Town Alexandria Wedding at the Torpedo Factory we excitedly said yes! Another chance to photo at this unique venue? Returning to charming Old Town Alexandria for portraits? An opportunity to work with such a fun, sweet couple? Yes, yes and yes!

GETTING READY
Christine and Zak prepared for their big day by gathering with their family and friends at the boutique hotel The Alexandrian.
Christine and her lovely ladies donned coordinating robes, sipped champagne out of personalized glasses and had the best time spending the morning together! To top off her fabulous morning, she was even visited by her puppy, Flip, who would soon be trotting down the aisle as their ring bearer!
Zak and his groomsmen started off their morning with a shave at a local barbershop and then they gathered to have a relaxed morning getting ready, including getting Flip into his tuxedo!
FIRST LOOK
Christine and Zak opted to have their First Look in the charming cobblestone alleyway just a few blocks from the hotel. Christine turned quite a few heads on her walk to the alley and deservedly so!
PORTRAITS
The alley is a favorite to photo in! We took advantage of the beautiful stone and brick that gives Old Town its charm and took some of their portraits here before we walked around the beautiful town.
Christine and Zak are fortunate to call Old Town their home. They have a cute townhome that they were excited to have featured in their portraits. We absolutely loved this because it made their portraits that much more special!
BRIDAL PARTY
KETUBAH
Christine and Zak signed their ketubah in one of the artist galleries of the Torpedo Factory Art Center surrounded by their family and close friends.
CEREMONY
Christine was escorted by her father to Zak, where they stood under a beautiful birch hoopah adorned with a gorgeous floral arrangement by B Floral Event Design.
RECEPTION
Christine and Zak took advantage of the warm summer evening and chose to have their cocktail hour outside. After enjoying drinks out of personalized Moscow Mule cups, a favor for their guests, everyone was invited inside for dinner, loving toasts and an evening of lively dancing!
Congratulations Christine and Zak! It was a beautiful day that we were truly honored to be a part of! We wish you both a lifetime of love, laughter and many adventures together!
